What is Passport to Dining in Downers Grove? Passport to Dining is an annual fundraiser hosted by the Grove Foundation where ticket holders sample food at multiple downtown Downers Grove restaurants for a single ticket price. The 2026 event is Wednesday, April 15th.

How the Evening Works
Check-in opens at 6:00 PM. Your ticket will indicate which restaurant to start at, a simple way to spread the crowd across all five locations from the beginning. From there you move at your own pace, collecting stamps in your passport along the way. At 9:00 PM the event closes, and anyone who has visited all five restaurants can turn in a completed passport for a chance to win a prize.
About the Grove Foundation
Passport to Dining benefits the Grove Foundation, a Downers Grove 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has supported the local community since 1991. The Foundation funds grants for educational, recreational, and social programs, runs the Helping Children Grow fifth grade student recognition program, and accepts donations on behalf of the Downers Grove Park District, local school districts, and the Village of Downers Grove. Grant recipients have included children, seniors, special needs athletes, veterans, artists, and community organizations.
Contributions to the Grove Foundation are tax deductible.
